MPM Capital
MPM Capital L.P. originally founded and capitalized $7.0 million into CryoCor in August of 2000. MPM Capital is a global asset management firm focused solely on healthcare investing from early stage start-ups to large capitalization public companies. MPM Capital has offices in South San Francisco, California; Boston, Massachusetts and Munich, Germany. MPM's current portfolio consists of biopharmaceutical and medical device companies and encompasses platform technology as well as product companies. The firm manages over $1.2 billion in committed capital through three investment vehicles, BioVentures I, MPM BioVentures II and the MPM BioEquities Fund. Kurt Wheeler, MPM General Partner, and Dr. Ayers, MPM Venture Partner, serve on the Board of Directors for CryoCor.

William Blair Capital Partners
Since 1982, William Blair Capital Partners ("WBCP") has invested over $700 million in approximately 150 companies throughout the United States. WBCP has invested in companies across a variety of industries. WBCP provides venture capital for early-stage companies, growth equity for fast growing companies and leveraged equity for later-stage recapitalizations and management buyouts. WBCP actively invests in companies in business and consumer services, health care, industrial growth and technology. The WBCP team has over 100 collective years of private equity investing experience. WBCP is the private equity group of William Blair & Company, L.L.C., a leading investment bank in Chicago. WBCP is currently investing out of its seventh fund, a $400 million private equity limited partnership.

Beecken Petty & Company
Beecken Petty & Company is a private investment management firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, primarily in healthcare services and information technology. Their emphasis is on late- and mature-stage medical product and device companies. Beecken Petty evaluates, structures and manages investments on behalf of institutional and individual investors. Investment capital is provided by Healthcare Equity Partners, L.P., a $150 million fund of which Beecken Petty is the general partner. David J. Cooney serves on the Board of Directors for CryoCor.
